Cookie Policy
This policy explains why cookies and similar technologies are used on the www.malogra.com website (the "Site") operated by MALOGRA DANIŞMANLIK TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ ("Malogra") and how you can manage your choices. Details of the personal data processed through cookies are in the Privacy Notice. The Turkish version of this policy prevails.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser by the website you visit. They are used to recognise you on your next visit, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. By duration they are session or persistent cookies; by owner, first-party (ours) or third-party (other service providers') cookies.
2. Consent and managing your choices
A cookie settings window is shown on your first visit. Cookies other than strictly necessary ones are used only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1) and only for the groups you allow. "Necessary only" rejects all optional cookies; this does not affect your use of the site.
You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, our related cookies are deleted from your browser and data collection stops. Your choice, its date and the policy version are recorded as proof of consent; your IP address is stored in this record only as an irreversible hash.
3. Cookies we use
a) Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required):
- mlg_consent (12 months): stores your cookie choices and the policy version you consented to.
- mlg_nt (2 years): used only to exclude Malogra staff's own visits from statistics.
- malogra_admin (30 days): used only in the admin panel to keep signed-in Malogra staff logged in; not placed on website visitors.
b) Analytics cookies (with your consent):
- mlg_vid (13 months): assigns a random visitor ID to your browser so we can recognise returning visitors and where a visit started. It contains no information such as your name or email address.
- mlg_sid (30 minutes): links page views within the same visit (session); expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4, up to 2 years): only if Google Analytics is enabled on the site; used by Google LLC for visit statistics.
- _clck, _clsk, CLID (Microsoft Clarity, up to 1 year): only if enabled; used by Microsoft Corporation to analyse page interactions through clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session recordings with sensitive fields masked.
c) Marketing cookies (with your consent):
- _gcl_au and Google Ads cookies (90 days): measures whether ad clicks lead to form submissions on our site (Google LLC).
- _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel, 90 days): measurement of Facebook and Instagram ads and showing relevant ads (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.).
- li_fat_id, bcookie, lidc (LinkedIn Insight Tag, 1 day – 1 year): measurement of LinkedIn ads and retargeting (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company).
Third-party cookies are loaded only if the relevant tool is enabled on our site and you have consented to that group. These providers may process data under their own privacy policies and on servers abroad.
4. Information collected
If you consent to analytics cookies, our own statistics system records:
- pages visited and their titles, active time spent on pages and scroll depth,
- where you came from: referring website, search engine, social network or AI assistant, and campaign link parameters (UTM),
- links and buttons clicked; phone, email and WhatsApp links; file downloads; forms opened and submitted (what you type into form fields is not recorded for this purpose),
- device type, operating system, browser, screen resolution, browser language, time zone and page load speed,
- approximate location derived from your IP address (country, city, district/region) and your internet service provider or organisation name; your IP address itself is not recorded,
- if you submit the contact, appointment, partnership or newsletter form, which visit and source the request came from.
If you consent to marketing cookies, ad click IDs (e.g. gclid, fbclid, msclkid) are also recorded.
If you do not consent to analytics cookies, only page view information for aggregate counting (page viewed, channel and device type) is recorded, without cookies and without anything that identifies you.
5. Location
Your approximate location is determined when a new visit starts by sending your IP address to a geolocation provider (ipapi.co or ipinfo.io; Cloudflare if the site is served through Cloudflare). This lookup is made only if you consented to analytics cookies. The result is kept for up to 30 days, matched to an irreversible hash of the IP address, to avoid repeat lookups. Your browser's location permission is never requested.
6. Retention
Visit data for analytics and marketing is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. Cookie consent records are kept for 2 years. Third-party cookie durations are subject to the respective provider's policy.
7. Browser settings
You can also view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, your choice cannot be remembered and the cookie window will appear on every visit. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
8. Third-party content
The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps and is loaded when the page opens. Google may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Share buttons on articles open the relevant social network only when clicked; no connection is made to those sites when the page loads.
9. Your rights and contact
To exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, to request deletion of your visit data or for questions, write to malogra@malogra.com. See the Privacy Notice and the Data Subject Application page for details.
